How do the 12 instalments work?
  • It is a 12-month subscription, invoiced every month: about 8% more than paying in full.
  • It covers your site, its hosting and its upkeep for 12 months.
  • You pay me directly, with no finance company.
  • You commit to 12 months: if you stop early, the remaining payments are still due.
  • After the 12th payment, the site is yours. After that, only the upkeep continues, with no commitment.

Your questions about prices

When do I pay?
  • Nothing before the demo.
  • In full: 40% when you sign the quote, the rest when the site is ready.
  • In 12 instalments: the first one when you sign, then one a month.
Are the instalments forever?
  • No: you commit to 12 monthly payments, then they stop.
  • The site is then yours.
  • Only upkeep and hosting remain, with no commitment.
Can I stop the instalments part-way?
  • No: with 12 instalments you commit to 12 months. The quote says so clearly.
  • You can pay off the rest in one go at any time.
  • The upkeep, from year 2, has no commitment.
Why pay €19 or €29 a month?
  • A website needs looking after, like a shopfront.
  • Hosting and your domain name renewal.
  • Your professional email address.
  • Security, updates and backups.
  • Your legal pages kept up to date.
  • Your small changes every month.
  • A reply from me within one working day.
  • No commitment: one month’s notice, and I give you your files.
Can I pay the upkeep once a year instead of every month?
  • Yes: €190 a year for a one-page site, €290 for up to 5 pages.
  • That is two months free compared with paying monthly.
  • If you stop during the year, I refund the full months left after the one-month notice.
My menu changes every day. What then?
  • The site shows what does not change: your set menu, its price and your regular dishes.
  • You post the dish of the day in two minutes from your phone, on your Google listing or Instagram.
  • A “See today’s dishes” button on the site links to it.
  • Your menu changes with the seasons? Send it to me: that is included in your small changes.
What about an English version?
  • €19 for a one-page site, €49 for up to 5 pages, paid once.
  • Translated and checked by me, not just machine translation.
  • Included in the All-in plans.
  • Your small changes are made in both languages.
  • Another language? Let me know and I’ll send you a quote.
Can you add other features?
  • The booking button (Planity, TheFork, Calendly…) is included at no extra cost.
  • On quote: a QR code menu, or online payments (deposits, gift vouchers, takeaway orders) through your own Stripe account, with the money going straight to your account.

Are there hidden fees?
  • No.
  • In year 1 everything is included: domain name, professional email, hosting, security and small changes.
  • After that, only the upkeep continues.
How do the instalments work?
  • By SEPA direct debit.
  • An invoice every month.
  • You can pay off the rest at any time.
Why not Wix, or a website leasing contract?
  • Wix: a monthly or yearly subscription (see Wix’s own site for current prices and terms), and you build the site yourself.
  • Website leasing contracts often commit you for several years, and the site usually belongs to the provider.
  • Here: €490 once, year 1 included, then €19 a month, all done for you, and the site is yours once paid.
What if you stop working, or fall ill?
  • Your domain name is in your name: nobody can take it from you.
  • I’ll give you at least 3 months’ notice, all your files and your domain transfer code.
  • Your site is simple and standard: any other web provider can take it over.
  • This is written in the terms.
Can the upkeep price go up?
  • It is guaranteed for the two years after the first one.
  • After that, any increase is announced in writing at least 3 months ahead.
  • You can then stop, at no cost.
How much does a major change cost?
  • An extra page: €60.
  • Anything else (a new section, redoing a page…): I send you a free quote first, about €40 an hour.
  • Small changes (hours, prices, a photo…) stay included every month.
